Diabetic Foot Risk Stratification
Comprehensive neuropathy screening with monofilament and tuning fork testing, vascular assessment, deformity evaluation, and pressure point mapping to classify risk level and guide preventive intervention.
Pre-Ulcer Lesions
Callus with hemorrhage, fissures, and skin breakdown in high-risk areas. Early debridement, offloading strategies, and patient education to prevent progression to open ulceration.
Charcot Neuroarthropathy
Hot, swollen foot with suspected midfoot collapse. Acute immobilization, serial imaging, and long-term management to prevent catastrophic deformity and amputation.
Diabetic Foot Ulcers
Active wound management including sharp debridement, offloading with total contact casting or CAM walkers, infection assessment, and coordinated care with vascular and wound care teams.
Neuropathy Management
Ongoing foot surveillance, protective footwear recommendations, diabetic shoe fitting, and fall-prevention strategies for patients with sensory loss.
Preventive Nail & Skin Care
Routine nail care, callus management, and skin assessment for patients unable to safely perform self-care due to neuropathy or vascular compromise.
