Dermatology
Referring to Fallbrook Podiatry
Skin and nail conditions of the foot often have structural or biomechanical drivers that require podiatric intervention. Fallbrook Podiatry provides the procedural and mechanical expertise for foot-specific dermatologic conditions that benefit from specialist care.
Conditions & Services
Refractory Plantar Warts
Warts resistant to standard topical therapy. Multi-modal treatment including sharp debridement, chemical cautery, and biopsy when lesions are atypical.
Problem Nails
Recurrent ingrown nails requiring matrixectomy, dystrophic nails needing procedural care, and fungal nails unresponsive to oral or topical antifungals — laser treatment available.
Structurally-Caused Corns & Calluses
Painful lesions driven by underlying bone prominences, hammertoe deformity, or biomechanical pressure patterns that require mechanical correction, not just debridement.
Acral Lesions
Suspicious lesions on weight-bearing skin where biopsy or excision is best performed by a specialist experienced with plantar tissue and post-procedural weight-bearing management.
